Which IPod to Buy

Looking an iPod and confusing, whether it will suit your requirements and your budget
Here is a simple classification may help you make the right decision.

Apple launched the iPod in November of 2001, with only a single product in the lineup, simply called 'iPod'. Jump to 2008, and there are now FOUR iPod options available. I must say, that Apple has balanced the line in the features/price area very well.

The dirt cheap iPod shuffle, Nano with video capabilities, Classic with decent storage space, and the Touch which a clone of the iPhone minus the camera and call features.

The iPod Shuffle, with 1Gb of storage, is the lightest, most compact of the iPod lineup, and a great option for those who like music while jogging or working out. It is the most economical, with it's only real downside is the absence of a screen. But then, if it had a screen, the cost would have increased considerably.

The iPod Nano has a 2" screen which can be used to view videos at decent quality and for music too! It has a storage of around 4-8GB and weighs around 50gms, and is competitively priced for the features it offers.

iPod Classic, which offers huge storage capacity of around 80-160Gb, and has a 2.5" screen which is a bit more than the Nano. This one is almost like the iPod Nano, just that the storage space is insane.

iPod Touch. Equipped with a 3.5" screen, and great looks, this product has a plethora of features like the touch-screen interface, QWERTY keyboard, WiFi , internet browser etc. But be cautious, it will make you running out of pocket.

You can buy the IPOD model which comes withing your range.
