Thoughts can Stimulate Feelings

| |

Thoughts can change your feelings.

Feelings stimulate thoughts I said in my previous article. But this can be worked in reverse direction in some times. Thoughts also stimulate mood as an exception.

The association between thoughts and feelings are recorded in mind.

You had fallen in love with a girl several years back. You had romantic thoughts with the girl. The girl friend symbolize romantic mood for you.

You last immediate boss was harassing you like anything. You have angry thoughts with your immediate supervisor. Your immediate boss symbolize angry mood for you.

When you think of your girl friend, you get romantic thoughts, ultimately you will have romantic mood. When you think of your immediate boss, you will have angry thoughts and angry mood.

Now thoughts of girl friend lead you to romantic mood and thoughts of immediate boss lead you to angry mood.

In the passage of years these association between feelings and 'reason' for feelings will disappear slowly. When memory fades, this association fades.

By consciously raising our thoughts associated with a particular feeling can fill us with the feeling.

Here thoughts are stimulating the feeling/mood, provided at least once this feeling must have stimulated the related thoughts in the past.

Always have happy feelings to have happy thoughts or remember happy moments to fill happy feelings.

Happy actions lead to happy mood which lead to happy thoughts.

Now happy thoughts reverse to happy mood even without the actions.
