Sony IPOD India

I bought a Sony IPOD recently in India. It is the best ipod compare to my previous IPODs. I used one from philips and chinese iphone, etc. In terms of sound clarity and quality, nothing can be par with Sony Ipod. Of course I have not used Apple IPOD. As on date, I prefer its sound quality and comfortable headsets.

When it stops working, I took it to the shop where I purchased it and come to know that the problem is with the headset. It has warranty for replacement the shop owner said. For one month, there was no response from the shop, whenever I contact him, he said my headset has been sent to Sony service center.
I was not able to locate any Sony service center near my area.
Later I purchased alternate headset, and started using it.

During the time I searched in Internet to get the details about Sony Ipod and its service centers, other models, and etc. I was not able to get the information as I expected in India. Please provide the links if you come across anything.
