Swarnabhoomi seems to be a new city. A massive pure residential project. While comparing the price with other promoted world cities, it seems to be a affordable residential area for middle and higher class people. Especially their smart home units.

Where is this Swarnabhoomi located?

It is approximately situated in center between Chennai and Pondicherry. If you start from Chennai, after crossing Maduranthagam and near Manamai, you will step into Swarnabhoomi.

If you start from Pondicherry, after crossing Marakkanam, you will step into Swarnabhoomi.

Though it is not even a sub-urban location, but it seems to be self sustained by features it offers or creates.

Not like "other semi-residential and full industrial area", the residential projects in Sriperumbudur or near by areas are initiated by Industrial developments. They are not pure residential areas.
