Sachin Tendulkar has proved himself as the best batsman forever. He becomes the first batsman in the history of cricket to score 200 runs in ODI.

Somebody may get 200 runs in the future. But, who is the first batsman to score 200. The pride goes to Sachin Tendulkar.

Sachin many times told that, cricket is his passion, he does not set himself for achievements and milestones. He said that 'records' come slowly and naturally. He does not force or plan for records.

Today another record embraced him happily and voluntarily. During the 199, he was so calm. He was cool and balanced when Dhoni took the 47,48, and 49 overs fully.

Sachin is the man of attitude. He breaks human limitations. He is not in his twenty or twenty five to achieve this. He scored 200 runs at 36 years old. 30+ is the right age to retire for a cricketer. But he is making history when all his 'batchmates' got retired.

He is fit mentally and physically to achieve this at 36 years old.

He got injured many times for the last few years. He has surgeries. Because of Sachin the word 'Tennis Elbow' got popular among cricket fans. No other cricketer can come out from such injuries to achieve this record.

Except Sachin no other cricketer can withstand such a tough political situation prevailed in Indian Cricket during Ganguly era. Sachin was almost cornered and dumped in this period. Negative reviews raised over Sachin's form. Veterans like Siddhu and others criticized Sachin severely. In an advertisement Siddhu said, 'Even the world best batsman can go out of form, but My commentary would not'. This was the state of Sachin in the media.

But Sachin never complained anybody and anything. He accepts what was given to him. He moved from opening position to 1st or 2nd down, he accepted the change in his position.

He never retaliate anybody for doing harm to him. He keeps quiet, does what he likes to do - his passion cricket, batting.

At the age of 30, his career was questioned. He was expected to retire. But Sachin did not give up. He did not respond to the negative situation negatively, but responded positively.

He ignored the other's expectation and opinions about him. He was clear about what he want and believe what he have believed about himself.

Now, he has shown his gratitude to his fans and honor the country for the opportunity given to him.

Questions about his form and retirement will not raise from the critics for a while. But will this greatest batsman retire greatly like Imran Khan, Ranathunga? It is not in the hands of Sachin. It is the responsibility of rest of the team members to give great honor to this greatest cricketer.

Sachin Tendulkar does what is passionate to him. He is positive to the negative. He never complains anybody. He is seeing himself as how he believes himself.

To Sachin, cricket is not an event to begin and end. It is his life. He exists in cricket. There is no beginning and ending in cricket for him. He is eternal as long as cricket exists in the humanity. He becomes immortal and no retirement to him.
