Intention Vs Environment

Does Environment entice man? Or Does man misuse the environment? Which is correct. A question of controversial answers. It has the great scope for analytical approach.

There are two controversial answers for the question. One is Environment entices the man. Second man misuses the environment. People in large numbers say situation is the main cause for sin and crime. Human intension is secondary. We can hear answers such as “I did it under the impulses of the situation, not because at my wish. Actually I do not like it.” This is the answer by people who blame environment for everything. Anybody who is charged with crime or sin they blame situation.

But, nobody says ‘I did it because of the emphasis by situation,’ when they are praised for a good action. If one has done a good things, he says ‘I did it because I am a human being. My mind told me to do it.’ he does not point out situation for his good action. But for bad action he points at environment. People easily escaped from the punishment or dis-reputation by blaming situation.

Situation, does it have potential to direct man? What is situation or environment? Does man inferior to situation? Situation is the outer world of an individual. An individual is an environment for another individual. Even then human living median AIR is an environment. What is the difference between situation and environment or how they are interrelated? How an individual react to his environment is called situation. The result of human interpretation over environment is called situation.

Situation is the human perception of his environment. In reality human intellect is superior to situation. He gives power to Situation even to control him. Comparing individual and environment is meaningless. There is no any superior or inferior role for them. An individual cannot be barred from them environment of another individual. For example, X is an environment to Y, and at the same time Y is an environment to X. Situation is how they are understanding or receiving each other. In simple terms, environment is a lifeless media, it is given life by human perception and the new forms called situation. Human develops the situation by his interpretation over his environment.

So action done by the force at situation is wrong, because situation gets the power from human. ‘This is the action, should be taken according to the situation’ is not true. The power of situation and emphasis of situation entirely depend upon human perception over the specific environment. If our interpretation is good then situation is good. If our interpretation is bad then situation bad.

They are two dogs. One is bring up by a rich man. It gets food properly. It master loves it very much, but at the same time it is chained. Another dog wondering in the streets. It does not have patron. It has to search its own food. The sphere of the first dog its master’s house, and the whole world is for second dog.

Few persons are asked to tell their thoughts over the two dogs. One person says ‘first dog is living happily. It gets food properly. Second dog is starving. It has to make up its own food from the garbage at streets. First dog is living happily. Second dog’s life is miserable’. Another person says, ‘first dog is chained. It does not have freedom. It could not move as it likes. The second dog has freedom to move as it likes. It is not damned by anybody. First dog life is slavery. Second dog’s life is full of liberty.’

Both are true. But both have different meanings. So human intention or perception decides everything, not situation because situation is the result of perception. Blaming situation for crime and sin is meaning less. It is escapism. A man with complete control over his mind can not be affected by situation, because he knows how to design his situation. If you like to do an action you will get the convenient situation to do it. If you don’t like to do an action, you will not face a situation to do it. The dual between situation and individual discipline ends up at the victory of individual discipline.
