How and what to choose between Instinct and Fear.

Instinct is a great feeling. Which guides us well. Fear protects us. Identifying fear as Instinct is a mistake. It will lead to confusion.

Instinct or gut feeling have to be followed.

What is the different between instinct and fear. It is difficult to differentiate.

As per my experience, fear starts from within ourself. Fear is not outside. It is inside we have to throw it out, It is WE create our fear.

Instinct comes from outside. It is like someone telling or stimulating you. It is not created. It is natural or automatic.

Whenever I have a sexual thoughts, feelings, interest over few females like clouds, some thoughts binded with virulent emotions embrace me. My logical mind completely arrested by them. My instinct says approach them.

At the same time fear comes as If I start to approach them as they may reject me, I will be made a culprit and etc.

When I try to express, I am not able to express feat stops me.

Now it is Instinct or Fear. Instinct says 'Yes'. Fear says 'No'. Instinct moves me, but fear stops me.

Now I have to overcome fear to follow my instinct. If I 'approach' anybody without sexual instinct that may be a mistake. If I do not approach to whom I have sexual instinct that may be a opportunities untapped.

In the same way, I get some angry feeling, angry thoughts over somebody, even I try to control my mind, it slips. Something tell me or stimulate me to fight with them or be cautious with them. Something push me to put them down.

At the same time fear erupts and stop me from 'fighting'. Fear of failure or loosing the battle or many other nightmare rises and put me under control.

Here too, I have to overcome fear to express my self freely. Get 'fight' bravely. I am using the word 'fight' in a different diction, since I am not able to find a proper word to express.

Either I have to 'put them down' or I will be 'put down' by them.

Look at the following example. In a office five girls are working and only one man and he is 'courting' the environment.

Now another man joins the office. Second man is no way inferior to the first man. So, it is natural that both will get friction. Center of attraction and courting and everything has to be shared.

Now they can have open battle or having a cold war and move the coins diligently. Definitely one wants to get rid of other. But office needs both. The same situation may rise for various reasons.

This is not ego or prestige. It is a biological reaction. If a new dog enters into a street, then dogs living in the street will get angry and bark. It is biological. At the same time if both are equal in strength they will fight otherwise the meek one will not fight and try to escape or keep distance. If is the fear stops the meeker from fighting and being killed.

Both instinct and fear are biological feelings or stimulation for survival, succeed and supremacy.

Follow instinct for your success and fear for your survival.

Many office politics are happening due to this biological right to survive and succeed. People who are balancing between their instinct and fear by using their intellect survive and succeed.

Do not follow instinct always or do not follow the fear always. Use your Intellect to identify which one has to be followed. Depending upon the timing and situation you have to decide.

Here is one example. Take it as example only. You have sexual instinct with neighbor's wife. If you like to 'approach' fear stops you. Fear about neighbor's reaction if you are caught and its consequence. Now use your intellect. If you are powerful than your neighbor in all the aspects then follow your instinct. He may try to kill you, you should be able to handle it.

If you are inferior to your neighbor or you like the friendship or 'neighborhood' of your neighbor then it is better to follow your fear.

Even in work place or business politics follow the same rule. If two people are competing for the same post or position, but one get selected. Then the immediate responsibility of both is 'putting down' or harassing each other due to fear and envy. It is a biological action, it can be regulated by Intellect.

Good and growing management will establish 'Win Win' situation. Management maintains 'Win Lost' situation will loose human resource. Those who 'Lost' will quit the company. High in and out human resource traffic is not good for the stability and reliability of the company.

Many job hobbing and problems in social life is due to wrong selecting between Instinct and Fear. Apply your intellect. Follow fear for Survival and instinct for Success. But, survival is more important than success. Because you need to survive(alive) to succeed.

Anyway everything is contextual, subjective to timings and situation. Apply your intellect than emotions.
