Eosinophilia count is the count of white blood cells called eosinophils in blood.

Eosinophil strengthens our immune system at normal level, but in excess creates breathing or wheezing problems normally.

Body(born marrow) secrets Eosinophils to protect our health. Under some environment or situation it is produced more or more than normal requirement. Which causes problems.

Normal count is less than 350 cells per microliter (cells/mcL).

In laboratory result 2 to 4 percentage of eosinophils in blood is normal eosinophilia count.

An eosinophil is a type of white blood cell, which is our body's immune system.

Increased numbers of eosinophils are produced to fight off allergic disease or parasitic infections. This is helpful in fighting parasitic infections. But allergic diseases they accumulate in tissues and cause damage. For example, in asthma, eosinophilia causes damage to lungs.
