What is the difference between a woman who is a divorcee getting married again and a woman who is committing adultery.

Both has extra marital affairs.

Divorced had sexual relationship with the other man apart from her current husband(second). If she marry for more than twice, she had extra marital affairs with more than one man apart from her current husband(nTH number). At a time a divorcee has relationship with one man.

An Adulterous woman has extra marital affairs. She has sexual relationship with other man/men apart from her current husband. She may have relationship with one man or more than one man. At a time she can maintains sexual relationship with more than one man including her husband. It depends.

A divorcee is not abused for having sex with more than one man, but a woman committing adultery or adulterous woman is abused for having sex with more than one man.

The difference is divorcee maintains only one man at a time and adulterous woman maintains more than one man at a time.

But both has sexual relationship with more than one man by and large.

Male dominated Society and male chauvinism attitude accept the divorcee but not accepting adultery.

In one context the woman having sexual relationship with more than one man is murdered or beaten or abused or divorced. In another context the woman is getting married in spite of having sexual relationship with other man.

Divorcee's sexual relationship with his previous husband(s) is explicit. The current/new husband has to digest and accept it.

In adultery the sexual relationship is implicit, the husband has to find it out either accidentally or intentionally and react on his findings.

Divorce is a socially acceptable way to have sex with more than one man provided one man at a time. Adultery is a socially non acceptable way to have sex with more than one man/men.

In both cases chastity is lost. How a woman(divorcee) can be declared as 'loyal wife/Chastity' to her current husband while she had sexual relationship with other man(previous husband) earlier.

Chastity is a obsolete term for a divorcee who is ready for her second marriage.

We can conclude as Chastity invalid to a divorcee and Chastity is valid to a wife who is not yet divorced and not committing adultery.

A divorced woman is not cheating anybody or her current husband or previous husband. She respects the marriage contract with the man she married. She does not violate as long as she is bounded to sleep with a man.

In adultery the woman is cheating her husband. Breach of marriage contract with her husband. It is a transgression for being a wife. An unfaithfulness exists in adultery.

Previous sexual relationship is accepted in divorce because cheating is not involved in it.

Wherein Adultery sexual relationship is not accepted because cheating is involved in it. Some one's trust is disappointed. A commitment is failed.

There is a scope for moral in Divorce and no scope for moral in Adultery.
