  • Body Shopping- Body Shopping is happening everywhere. Human body is hired for hours, days, months, and Years. Everybody is engaging in body shopping for survival. Software engineers lend their eye, ear, hands, and brain. Teacher lend their mouth and singers too. A driver is lending his eye, ear, hands, legs to drive the vehicle for his bread and butter. Of-course our mind is hired appropriately. We have to apply our mind for what we are hired. Whether we have interest or not, we rent our body for our living. Our body is used against money. Depending upon the money earned we feel proud of our 'Body Shopping' and 'Time Shopping'.
  • Commitment at Work- My employee does not show commitment in his work. I assigned him in a key project. This is a very important project to be finished at the earliest. In the mean time he took leave without waiting for my permission. He just passed an intimation that he is taking leave. He already got 15 days of leave, which begins from next week. He promised me that he will not take any more leave, once he got the approval for 15 days leave for his marriage. I argued with my management to get his 15 days leave. Now he took leave again, he failed is words. He seemed to be not caring about the project he is doing. He seemed to be care free as let the project finish automatically instead he has to finish it. By and large, he is not committed.
  • Internet Traffic for Sachin Tendulkar- There is a good traffic current for Sachin Tendulkar always in the internet. Yesterday I am moved by his double century. Sachin tendulkar got 200 runs in ODI. So I wrote an article about Sachin yesterday. I already had few articles about Sachin and Cricket. Like me, all the Indian cricket fans are excited. So, I anticipate a sudden hike in Internet traffic for Sachin. My anticipation became correct, I notice that, my articles about Sachin are viewed by visitors. My blog has new traffic for the articles about Sachin Tendulkar. I decided to post the article, I wrote yesterday. But, I felt tired in the evening after coming from office. So I decided to post the article tomorrow or when I am energetic to blog in the evening.
  • Hypothesis about Prostitution- Prostitution is a Sin. This is one of the hypothesis prevailing in society about prostitutes. Religion, Social Godfathers, Clergy man and everybody condemn prostitution as sin. Even though it is a sin, it is still thriving in the society. If it is really a sin as mentioned by the religion or religious people, Satan defeated God almost when Civilization evolved in humanity. So the game is over between God and Satan, and there is no need for God to run this(earth) show.
Prostitution is Anti-Social. Prostitution spoils the society. Prostitution destroys families. Prostitution spreads disease and blah blah. Actually, the rape rate of today would have been more if there is no prostitution. All men are not capable of flirting with women or they do not know how 'setup' a woman or they do not have 'chance' or even chance is given, miss it due to fear. They have to get married or go to prostitutes to ventilate their sexual stress. Otherwise, those inferior males will engage in sexual harassment or trying to seduce other's wife. Prostitution reduces the sexual harassment cases by and large.
  • Silicon Civilization- We are living in Silicon Civilization. Human history has witnessed various known and unidentified civilizations. Every civilization has its own life style, comfort level, technical expertise, cultural and economic system, and of course Spirituality and God. In stone age people were having expertise in using stone for their extra comfort in hunting, fighting and sheltering. Like that, we had Steel age during the Industrial revolution. With the expertise in chemicals we had 'Plastic Age'. Now, we are in age of Semi-Conductors. From poor to rich are using semi-conductors in one way or other way. From cell phone to Rockets, chips are every where.
  • Indian Middle Class Population- Indian middle class population have to vacate from its metro cities to sub-urban cities or satellite towns, because of increasing cost of living. Buying a house or renting a decent double bedroom house, sending kids to a quality english medium school, watching movie in a ciniplex are going beyond the reach of middle class family. During the post freedom periods, Indian cities attracted the people from rural towns and villages. Job opportunities, business opportunities, high quality education, hospitals have drawn the people towards the big cities. Cities were like 'Black Hole' during these periods.
  • Investment in Schools Colleges- Education has become investment. Like mutual funds, shares, real estate education is an investment. Parents investing in education for big returns. The major attribute of education is economy, the ability to get a job, get an high paying job. Other attributes are status, recognition. Educated brides and grooms are a 'sellable / disposable commodity' at ease in the matrimonial market. People believe that studying in 'good school and colleges' yield more job opportunity and earning potential. Of course, it is true. Parents are ready to 'invest' in college admission if the college draws big paying companies for campus interviews.
  • Personal Loan Defaulters- The number of personal loan defaulters are raising now. Why the calculated personal loan fails. How to avoid listed in CIBIL, if we are about to default our personal loan. Few hypothesis about personal loan defaulting are discussed here. Personal loan should not be defaulted. It is given against the salary. It is given, based on the standard and secured periodical income. It should be paid promptly, because it has a backup of salary. So it has no scope for defaulting. But it is defaulted. Personal Loan Defaulting can be grouped into several types: Willful defaulting, Excess Liability, Health Reason, and Socio-Economic Changes. Willful defaulting is determined. The person who gets personal loan already decided to cheat. He may simultaneously get loan from several banks and abscond. Excess liability is committing more than what we are able to liable. We know our commitment to our present loan, but we accidentally or voluntarily engage in other borrowings, and it takes the high priority than the personal loan. So we pay to other borrowings and miss the EMI of PL. Health Reasons. It is like we are not able to work or go to office due to health reasons. We may be bedridden for a few months. This is unintentional and accidental. In this sick/bedridden period, we are not able to pay the EMI of our loan, because we have no income or we are not getting our salary, which we have shown as a proof/security for getting the loan. Socio-Economic changes. The best example is software industry. The software employees were getting sky scrapping salary. They got personal loan based on their salary. During the recession, many lost their jobs and many got negative hike, got their salary reduced. This is not their intention, or they do not plan it. It is happening not because of them. So due to the changes in socio-economic changes, IT employees may be defaulting their personal loan.
  • Cure Sexual Thoughts- Cure Sexual thoughts -------------------- It is natural that we will have sexual thoughts until we divert your mind to divinity, education, extra curricular activities. If you are active in a sports or engage in music or drawing or writing or any other activity which you like most, you may not have sex thoughts. Even you do not try to stop, it will stop without your effort. Most important thing is never watch TV if you want to avoid having sex thoughts. Even NEWS channels showing porno videos nowadays to increase their TRB rating. Avoid discussions and gossips about sex topics. This will stir you sex feelings slowly. You listen what you speak before the second person listens it.
  • External Consultant- External Consultancy is a different form of freelancing. External consultancy may be something new to Indian software realm. In external consultancy you do not need to bid like in normal freelancing. You work with a 'company', which do marketing and having sales team in US, Cananda, Europe or other developed countries, whose currency value is higher than India. They get projects. • Satan in the Office- Are you a Satan in the Office? Are you a Submitter in the Office. Few years back wherever I work, I behaved like Satan. I did not mingle with the management or my immediate boss or the person who established the company. I was at loggerhead with them and had friction. I had very high ego, and I have good professional skills. With the confidence in my skill and ego, I felt superior. I tried to create my own group of colleagues who were my admirers. I wanted to establish as a person, who can be equally par with boss. I kept distance from boss to avoid being subdued. I wanted to have more influence, impact, power, heroic image than my Boss.

  • Resale value of Budget Flats- What will be the resale value of emerging Budget Flats? Can budget flats can compete with the traditional two bedroom, three bedroom, villas, duplex houses and independent houses? A single bedroom flat is sold for Rs.4.5 crores in mumbai It can not par with them as short term return. But it has tremendous scope in long run. After 20 years or more. When Redevelopment phase begins in your area, your single bedroom or double bedroom budget flat can easily compete with the resale value of traditional homes. This is because the building value is depreciating and land value is appreciating. After 20 years from now both the building value of budget flats and traditional flats will be nill. But the land value where they are constructed may be in astronomical place.
  • I am Fired- I am Fired. What is next? I was witness of two firings personally. I was second witness to four firings till now. When I was working in XYZ softwares pvt ltd, I quit the company and joined to XXXXX after having an ego friction and immediate boss harassment from my Team Leader. If I continue for another one month they would have fired me. I moved in time. Within a month they fired four of my colleagues. They told me their termination over phone. I thought their career is over, they are going to struggle. Of course they got depressed. After two months, they started searching job. One by one they get job in companies, which are better than XYZ. They get salary higher than what they got in XYZ. Their workload is lower than XYZ. They are in better comfort than in all the aspects.

  • Buying Seconds - Resale Flats- Buying seconds home or old home is profitable than buying new budget home? Either seconds budget home or new home, I guess there will be no difference in cost. Unlike electronic system and automobiles, flat or land prices get appreciated year by year rather than depreciated. If you are buying a home through housing loan, you have to pay more 20% as down payment, whereas, new house requires 15% to 20% as down payment from the cost of the home you purchase. Moreover, construction quality of old homes will be always lesser than newly constructed flats. The house owner may try to sell the house quickly due to his financial need or he may be going to settle in foreign country or wanting money for his children marriage or education. To make the sale happening, he or she may reduce the price. That' it. Other than there will be no price reduction for old home.
  • Real Honey- Buying Real Honey or Raw honey is not so easy, since deforestation or climate changes all over the world. When I was a boy, I went with my Grandfather to buy Honey from the local tribes near our village. Those tribes live in the forest. They sell the products they 'collect' from forest to villagers. In turn, villagers sell those products to city people. My grandfather always told me "don't buy honey from shops, they are not real honey, they may be synthesized or duped honey." He also specify tips to Identify a real honey. Take a glass of water. Let the single drop of Honey should fall into the glass. See how the honey drop dissolves in the water.
  • TVH SUVAYA Review- I visited TVH Suvaya last week. From Porur, via Kundrathur I reached TVH Suvaya. From Kundrathur, it is 10+ km away. From TVH Suvaya to Sriperumpudur-Bangalore High way junction is 10 to 15 minutes drive - around 7-8 kms. The road from Kundrathur to TVH Suvaya or Sriperumpudur is more than 20 kms stretch. On both side of the road here and there some small villages or 'settlement'. Mostly swaps, bushes - a forest like look on both side of the road. The width of the road is not enough to bear the traffic it has as on date. While riding, often I saw a four wheeler or six wheeler approaching against me suddenly. It is overtaking another vehicle and covered my path too. I had to slip from the TAR road to mud road for a while. After they crossed me, I had to come back to TAR road. In short, this road does not seems to be good for two wheeler or small cars.
  • Resale value of Flats- How to calculate resale value of old flats? This the big puzzle for those who think of buying a resale flats rather than new flats whose cost is equal to Europe realty. I often look into resale flats or mortgaged flats - first buyer is not able to pay the EMI, so BANKs will take over the flat and bid it again. They seems to be cheaper (not damn cheap) than new flats. The price of old flats is calculated based on two factors - cost of construction per sqft. This will be fixed by the local government body like panchayet or registration office. It depends on the building depreciation. How old the building is.

  • Investing in Land- Investing in land is good or bad? Today people start buying land / plots not for using it, but for investing. Earlier, farmers buy land to expand and increase their Agriculture productivity. Industrialist buy land to construct factories to increase their production and profit. Individuals buy land to live, they build houses and start living there. But Nowadays, people buy land to Invest, not for agriculture, industry, and living. We buy land in the belief that somebody will buy from us in a higher price sooner or later, like shares, mutual funds. Here is a true incident of buying a land and its impact, which I witnessed.
  • Investing in LIC- Investing in LIC is profitable or not profitable? It is secure, but, Is it profitable compare to other investment options? If you look at LIC as an Insurance coverage, no need to worry about profit or returns. You should not expect a big return unless you die. Do you expect a big return from your Mediclaim policy or vehicle insurance policy? They are risk coverage, that's it. In the same way see, Life Insurance. OK. We can not change our age old belief about Life insurance as Investment option and a guarantee for old age. If you expect a big return from your LIC policy for your old age, then you are treating LIC - insurance coverage as an Investment. Here you are making a mistake.
